Appeal for information following burglary at Weymouth hotel

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following a burglary at a hotel in Weymouth.

Between 6pm and 7.30pm on Thursday 29 May 2025 entry was gained to seven rooms at The Russell Hotel on The Esplanade and various items were stolen, including cash and jewellery.

Police Constable Robert Coram, of Weymouth police, said: “We are conducting detailed enquiries into this matter, and I am keen to hear from anyone with information that might assist our investigation.

“I would urge anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area around the relevant timeframe to please get in touch.”
