Public appeal in search for missing man from Spetisbury

Officers searching for a missing man from Spetisbury are appealing for information from the public to help find him.

Dorset Police received a report raising concern for 49-year-old Jamie, who was reported to have left his home address at around 10.30am on Friday 9 January 2026.

Jamie is described a five feet 11 inches tall and of medium build with dark brown hair. He was wearing an orange and blue coat, jeans and wellington boots.

Inspector Craig Tiernan, of Dorset Police, said: “We are concerned for Jamie’s welfare, and I would urge anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to please contact us immediately.

“Our searches are ongoing and I would also urge Jamie if you see this appeal to please make contact with us or your loved ones and let us know where you are. We all just want to make sure that you are all right.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Jamie’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police online or by calling 999, quoting incident number 9:416.
