Appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage following serious collision in Bournemouth
Officers investigating a serious injury collision in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
Dorset Police received a report at 2.37pm on Monday 22 January 2024 of a collision involving a yellow Fiat Panda hatchback and a Peugeot motorcycle in Corhampton Road.
The male rider – aged in his teens – was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police Sergeant Gareth Thomas, of the traffic unit, said: “A road closure remained in place for several hours while officers investigated the collision and I would like to thank members of the public for their patience during this time.
“I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident, or the manner of driving of the vehicles involved in the moments leading up to the collision, to please come forward.
“Also, I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have relevant dashcam footage from Christchurch Road from around 2pm to 2.40pm on Monday 22 January 2024.”
