Appeal for information following collision in Christchurch

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward as they investigate a road traffic collision in Christchurch.

At around 2pm on Sunday 21 July 2024 a collision occurred in Lymington Road, near to the junction with Rothesay Road, involving a black BMW 5-Series and a red Honda motorcycle.

The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 60s, sustained an injury to his foot as a result of the collision and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Police Constable Sorrel Gilbert, of Dorset Police, said: “We are continuing to conduct enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this collision and I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please come forward.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who was driving in the vicinity and may have captured relevant dashcam footage.”
