Update in relation to reported dog bite incident in Poole
A woman has come forward following an appeal in relation to a report of a dog bite incident in Poole.
It was reported that at around 5.15pm on Tuesday 15 November 2022 a three-year-old girl was with her mother at the bus shelter opposite The Pilot pub in Adastral Road in Canford Heath. There were also two women at the bus stop, one of whom had a predominantly white Jack Russell.
The dog reportedly bit the girl on the leg, which caused bruising to the victim.
Following an appeal, the woman with the dog has come forward and is assisting officers with their enquiries.
