Update in relation to reported assault in Bournemouth
A man has come forward following an image appeal in relation to a reported assault in Bournemouth.
It was reported that at around 12.30pm on Tuesday 14 April 2026 a man was assaulted by another man inside Lidl in Christchurch Road.
He was reportedly headbutted, sustaining facial injuries that were not believed to be serious.
Following enquiries by officers and a CCTV appeal, a 30-year-old Bournemouth man has come forward and is assisting officers with their investigation. No arrests have been made.
