Officers are appealing for anyone with information to come forward as they investigate a burglary in Poole.

At around 3am on Sunday 9 June 2024, entry was forced to the outbuilding of a property in Blandford Road in which several items were taken including two mountain bikes, a paddleboard, camping equipment, shoes and an Xbox games console.

The stolen mountain bikes are a Whyte 19 XL Works and a Giant Talon.

Police Constable Joseph McKee, of Poole police, said: “We are continuing to carry out enquiries into this burglary and I would ask anyone who saw or heard suspicious activity in the area to please come forward.

“We have obtained a CCTV image of the suspect and while I appreciate that the image of the man is not the best quality, I am hoping that it may jog someone’s memory as to his identity.

“I would ask anyone with relevant information to come forward and speak to us.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55240086512. Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously online at Crimestoppers-uk.org or by calling Freephone 0800 555 111.
