Appeal for witnesses following burglary in Upton

Officers investigating a residential burglary in Upton are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

Between 6.15am and 7.15am on Tuesday 2 December 2025, entry was gained to a property off Shore Lane.

A grey Mercedes car was stolen, as well as two electric bikes – described as a white Cyrusher bike and a Freego bike, a handbag and a laptop.

Police Constable William Forster, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out our initial enquiries into this incident to find out what happened.

“I would ask anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area during the relevant time period to please get in touch.

“If you have home CCTV in the Shore Lane area, or you were driving nearby and have a dashcam fitted to your vehicle, please let us know if you have any footage that may assist my investigation.”
