Appeal for witnesses following assault in Bournemouth

Officers investigating an assault in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

Dorset Police received a report at 11.22pm on Friday 12 December 2024 of a disturbance in Windham Road.

Officers attended and located a man and woman who reported they had been involved in a fight with a group of men.

It was reported the woman was punched in the face during the fight.

Police Constable David Carmichael, of Dorset Police, said: “We have now received a full account from the victim and I am carrying out enquiries into this incident.

“There may have been other people in the area at the time and I would ask anyone who saw what happened and has not already spoken to police to please get in touch.”
