CCTV appeal following theft of bike in Wimborne

Officers investigating the theft of a high-value bike in Wimborne are issuing a CCTV image of the suspect.

At around 1.40pm on Wednesday 27 August 2025, a man stole a Hai Bike in East Street.

Police Sergeant Steven Payne, of East Dorset Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this incident and have obtained a CCTV image of the suspect.

“I would ask anyone who recognises him to please come forward.

“We are also issuing an image of the stolen bike and would ask anyone who has seen it for sale locally in suspicious circumstances to please get in touch.”
