Reported exposure incidents in East Dorset – witness appeal
Officers investigating a series of reported exposure incidents in East Dorset are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant information to contact them.
Dorset Police received a report at 12.48pm on Sunday 20 July 2025 that a man had exposed himself and performed an indecent act in front of motorists in West Moors Road in Three Legged Cross. A similar report at the same location was received at 5.40pm that day.
Subsequent reports of alleged indecent acts were also reported to have occurred at 11am on Saturday 19 July 2025 in Victoria Road in Ferndown and at 7.56am on Wednesday 23 July 2025 in West Moors Road.
Following enquiries, a 77-year-old man from Ferndown was arrested on suspicion of exposure. He has been released on police bail as the investigation continues.
Detective Sergeant Kate Bleese, of Dorset Police, said: “We are continuing to investigate these incidents, and I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed any of the reported behaviour at these times and locations and have not yet spoken to us.
“Furthermore, I would ask anyone who has witnessed any similar incidents in East Dorset to please report them to us so we can gain a full understanding of what has been happening in the area.”
