Appeal for witnesses following burglary in Poole

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following a burglary in Poole.

It is reported that overnight between Monday 25 August and Tuesday 26 August 2025 entry was gained to a residential address in Edward Road.

A number of items were stolen during the incident, including bank cards.

Police Constable Ryan Greenwell, of Dorset Police, said: “We are conducting enquiries into this burglary and are asking for witnesses or anyone with information to please come forward.

“I am also keen to hear from anyone who captured any relevant CCTV or dashcam footage or witnessed any suspicious activity in Edward Road overnight between Monday 25 August and Tuesday 26 August 2025. Your information could assist our enquiries.  

“Further reports have been received of a man trying door handles in the wider Upper Parkstone area over recent weeks. We would like to hear from anyone with relevant information as we carry out enquiries to establish if these incidents are linked.”
