Seven arrests made as part of investigation into reported supply of class A drugs
Detectives have made seven arrests as part of an investigation into the reported supply of class A drugs.
As part of an ongoing investigation by Dorset Police’s Serious Organised Crime Team into the alleged supply of class A drugs by an organised crime gang in the BCP area, seven men were arrested on Wednesday 1 April 2026.
Officers were assisted by the South West Regional Organised Crime Unit.
Searches were carried out at addresses across the BCP area and a large quantity of cash, as well as suspected cocaine, was seized.
Four men, aged between 28 and 44, were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug.
A further three men, aged 23, 29 and 39 were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug and money laundering. The 23-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon in a private place.
All seven men – from Bournemouth – remain in police custody.
Detective Inspector Scott Johnson, of Dorset Police, said: “We will never give up on disrupting the reported supply of illegal drugs in our county.
“These arrests show that we are committed to taking action and ensuring that we can take any suspected drugs off the streets.
