Man who reportedly escaped from lawful custody has been located
A man who reportedly escaped from lawful custody in Poole has been located and arrested.
Dorset Police received a report at 5.28pm on Thursday 2 April 2026 that 32-year-old Jason Evans had made off from a privately operated prisoner transport vehicle in Poole Road.
Officers have been carrying out extensive enquiries over recent days and on the afternoon Monday 6 April 2026 Evans was reportedly located at an address in Bournemouth and arrested on suspicion of remaining at large after recall to prison.
