Witness appeal following serious injury collision in Bournemouth
Officers are urging witnesses and motorists with relevant dashcam footage to come forward following a serious injury road traffic collision in Bournemouth.
Dorset Police received a report at 10.36am on Friday 30 May 2025 of a collision at the junction of Wellington Road and Beechey Road involving a Harley Davidson motorcycle and an ambulance.
Emergency services attended and the motorcyclist, a man aged in his 50s, was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were believed to be serious but not life-threatening.
Road closures were put in place as the emergency services responded and enquiries were caried out.
Police Constable Steve Eastwood, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this collision and I am keen to hear from any witnesses who have not already spoken to police.
“I would also urge any motorists who may have captured relevant dashcam footage to please contact us.
“Finally, I would like to thank members of the public for their patience and understanding while the road closures were in place.”
