Appeal following robbery in Bournemouth
Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following a robbery in Bournemouth.
At around 10.50am on Thursday 26 March 2026 the victim was approached by a man with a knife in Wimborne Road in Winton, near the junction with Withermoor Road.
It is reported that the man demanded money from the victim. The money was handed over and the man left the area.
The victim sustained no injuries.
Police Constable Abbey Poole, of Dorset Police, said: “This must have been terrifying for the victim and we are carrying out enquires to identify the person responsible.
“I would ask any witnesses or anyone with information about the incident to please get in touch.
“I am also urging any motorists who were driving in the area around the relevant time to please check their dashcam footage for anything that might assist our enquiries.”
