Appeal for witnesses following assault in Bournemouth
Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a road rage incident in Bournemouth.
At approximately 1pm on Saturday 25 March 2023 a Volkswagen Polo overtook a Volkswagen Beetle in Castle Lane West.
The vehicles came to a stop at the traffic lights and the female driver of the Beetle got out of her car and approached the driver of the Polo.
It is reported that an altercation occurred involving the two drivers, where they both sustained minor injuries and damage to their vehicles.
Police Constable Alicia Roe, of Dorset Police, said: “I am continuing to investigate this incident and would ask anyone who witnessed what happened to please come forward.
“I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have captured the incident on either dashcam or has mobile phone footage.”
