Appeal for information following reported robbery in Poole

Officers are appealing for information and urging a potential victim to come forward following a reported robbery in Poole.

Dorset Police received a third-party report at 11.45pm on Sunday 7 June 2026 that a man, believed to be aged around 70 years old, had been pulled from a vehicle in the Western Road car park by three people, who then appeared to go through his pockets.

The three people involved – two men and a woman – are then reported to have left the scene in a black MG.

Police Constable Thomas Fuller, of Poole police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this incident and at this time we have not identified the reported victim of this robbery.

“I would urge them to come forward as we want to ensure that they are all right and take their account of what happened.

“I am also keen to hear from any further witnesses or anyone with information that might assist our investigation.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police online or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55260084361. Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously online using its website or by calling Freephone 0800 555 111.
