Appeal for information following exposure incident in Poole

Officers investigating an exposure incident in Poole are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

The incident occurred at around 9.45pm on Sunday 10 March 2024 as the victim, a man aged in his 20s, was sitting on a bench near to the clifftop at Branksome beach.

It is reported that a man approached and sat next to him making inappropriate comments, before pulling down his trousers. The victim was able to walk away from the scene.

The offender is described as white, five feet 10 inches tall, aged around 30 to 40 years old and of large build with short hair and a short beard. He was wearing a thick wax coat and jeans.

Police Constable Samuel Hunt, of Poole police, said: “I am carrying out enquiries to identify the man involved in this incident.

“I understand there were a number of people present in the car park nearby and I would ask anyone who saw what happened, or has information to help my investigation, to please get in touch.”
