Appeal for victims following affray in Bournemouth

Officers investigating an incident of affray in Bournemouth are appealing for anyone who was involved to come forward.

Dorset Police received a third-party report at 1.10pm on Saturday 22 April 2023 of a fight in Old Christchurch Road involving a group of men.

It is reported that one of the men was in possession of a hammer.

Officers attended and carried out a search of the area, however nobody was located.

Police Constable David Carmichael, of Bournemouth police, said: “I am carrying out enquiries into the circumstances of this incident, but so far I have not been able to identify those involved.

“It is not believed that anyone was injured, but I am keen to speak to those involved so I can establish exactly what happened.

“Also, I would ask anyone who witnessed the incident or may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage to please contact Dorset Police.”
