Witness and dashcam appeal after vehicle failed to stop in Wimborne

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward after a vehicle was seen driving carelessly in Wimborne.

At around 3.55pm on Monday 6 November 2023 officers attempted to stop a vehicle in Stone Lane.

It is reported that the vehicle – a silver Subaru Forrester – failed to stop for police and drove off onto the B3078.

Police Sergeant Natalie Skinner, of the Dorset Police Rural Crime Team, said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed what happened, or the manner of the driving of the Subaru, to please get in touch.

“Also, I would like to hear from any motorists who will have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”
