Witness appeal following public order incident in Shaftesbury

Officers investigating a public order incident in Shaftesbury are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

Dorset Police received a report at 5.01pm on Tuesday 15 March 2022 of a disturbance at a petrol station at Ivy Cross. It was reported that two men had been acting in an aggressive manner and were verbally abusive toward staff.

Officers attended, details were taken for the individuals involved and the two men left the scene.

Police Constable Nicholas Hunter, of North Dorset police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this incident and I understand there were a number of other members of the public present who may have witnessed what happened.

“I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please get in touch.”
