Update – arrest in connection with reported watch theft in Bournemouth
A man has been arrested in connection with the reported theft of a high value watch in Bournemouth.
It was reported that a man aged in his 60s was walking into an address in Bath Road at around 2.30pm on Sunday 28 August 2022 when he was approached by two men. One of the men allegedly distracted the victim while the other stole his watch. It was further reported that a third man had been seen following the victim prior to the incident.
The watch that was reportedly stolen was a high value Patek Phillipe watch.
Following enquiries by detectives from Dorset Police’s Priority Crime Team, a 28-year-old London man was arrested on suspicion of theft. He has been released on police bail as enquiries continue.
