CCTV appeal after two men assaulted in Wimborne

Officers investigating an assault on two men in Wimborne are issuing an image of a man they would like to identify.

At around 6.45pm on Tuesday 23 September 2025, two men aged in their 20s were riding their motorbikes on West Borough when they were forced to slow down due to a man in the road.

As the men tried to ride around the unknown man, he punched one of them in the arm.

The offender then approached the second man and punched him to the head, before grabbing him and trying to pull him off his bike.

Police Constable Kayleigh Barguss, of East Dorset police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this incident and are carrying out enquiries to identify the man involved.

“We are now in a position to issue a CCTV image of a man we would like to identify and would urge anyone who recognises him to please come forward.”
