Brothers from Bournemouth charged with drug offences

Two men have been charged with drugs offences following their arrests in Bournemouth last month by officers from the South West Regional Organised Crime Unit (SWROCU). 

Zakaria El-Basir, 22, from Post Office Road, Bournemouth, was charged with conspiracy to supply cannabis and possession of a noxious substance (pepper spray).  

Sami El-Basir, 20, from Westcliffe Gardens, Bournemouth, was charged with conspiracy to supply cannabis.  

The men, who are brothers, appeared at Poole Magistrates’ Court today (18 Feb). Zakaria El-Basir was remanded in custody and will next appear at Bournemouth Crown Court on 19 March. Sami El-Basir was remanded until a bail hearing can take place.
