Update in relation to reported sexual assault in Blandford
A man has been interviewed by officers investigating a report that a teenage girl was sexually assaulted in Blandford.
It was reported that at around 8.20pm on Sunday 26 June 2022 a 14-year-old girl was sitting outside the Spar store in Market Place when a man approached and allegedly toucher her inappropriately over her clothing.
Following a CCTV appeal and enquiries by officers, a local man aged in his 40s attended for a voluntary police interview and he has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
