Appeal for witnesses following attempted burglary in Poole

Officers investigating an attempted burglary in Poole are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

Between 3.30pm and 7pm on Sunday 10 March 2024 damage was caused to the back door, back gate and security light at an address in Holnest Road.

Entry was not gained to the property and nothing was stolen.

Police Constable Jack Taylor, of Poole police, said: “I am carrying out enquiries into this incident and am keen to hear from anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area between around 3pm and 7pm on Sunday 10 March 2024.

“Also, I am appealing to anyone who may have captured anything of relevance during that timeframe on either home CCTV or dashcam footage.

“Furthermore, I am keen to hear from anyone walking in the Hatch Pond Nature Reserve at the time of the incident who noticed any suspicious activity to please contact us.”
