Witness and dashcam appeal following serious injury collision in Bournemouth
Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward following a serious injury road traffic collision in Bournemouth.
Dorset Police received a report at 5.40pm on Tuesday 11 February 2025 of a road traffic collision involving a blue Toyota Corolla and a Keeway motorcycle in Castle Lane West, near to the junction with Cox Avenue.
Emergency services attended and road closures were put in place to allow for a safe but thorough assessment of the scene.
The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 30s, was taken to hospital for injuries reported to be serious but not life threatening or life changing.
Police Sergeant Chris Brolan, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this collision to establish the full circumstances and I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please make contact with us.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who was driving in the area and may have seen either of the vehicles before the incident or captured relevant dashcam footage.
“Road closures were put in place to allow the emergency services to respond to this incident and I would like to thank members of the public for their patience and understanding during this period.”
