Public appeal following robbery in Bournemouth

Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a robbery in Bournemouth.

At around 8pm on Friday 11 March 2022 the victim, a man aged in his 40s and from London, was walking over the bridge on Southbourne Road toward Kings Park when he was assaulted by two males who were on bicycles. He did not see the offenders.

The victim’s mobile phone was stolen during the incident.

Police Constable Jack Cornick, of Bournemouth police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the relevant time and witnessed what happened to please contact Dorset Police.

“I would also ask local residents or motorists to please check their home CCTV or dashcam footage and get in touch if they have captured anything of relevance.”
