Arrest following reported assault in Shaftesbury
A man has been arrested in connection with a reported assault in Shaftesbury.
It was reported that at around 7.40pm on Thursday 26 March 2026 a teenage boy was assaulted by another teenager known to him in Mampitts Lane.
It was reported the suspect then left the area in a red Audi A3.
The victim sustained minor facial injuries.
Following enquiries by officers, an 18-year-old man from Shaftesbury was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He has been released on police bail as further investigative work is carried out.
