Image appeal following burglary in Gillingham

Officers investigating a residential burglary in Gillingham are appealing for information and issuing an image of a stolen motorbike.

Between 10pm on Tuesday 24 March and 7am on Wednesday 25 March 2026 entry was gained to a garage off Gyllas Way.

A Yamaha R6 600cc motorbike was stolen, as well as a Polygon Sisku T8 bicycle.

Police Constable Chris Kingsbury, of the local neighbourhood policing team, said: “I am carrying out enquiries into this incident to identify who was responsible.

“As part of my enquiries, I am issuing an image of the stolen motorbike. It is a distinctive track bike and I would ask anyone who may have seen it for sale locally in unusual circumstances to please get in touch.”
