Update – arrests following reported arson in Poole
Detectives have made two arrests following a CCTV appeal in relation to a reported arson in Poole.
Dorset Police received a report at 12.53am on Monday 4 September 2023 of a fire at an address in Northmere Road.
It was reported that two men broke into the address, before the fire was allegedly started. The occupants were not at home when the incident occurred.
Following detailed enquiries and a CCTV appeal, two local men – aged 33 and 41 – were arrested on suspicion of burglary and arson with intent to endanger life. They have been released on police bail as detectives carry out further enquiries.
