CCTV appeal following assault in Bournemouth

Officers are issuing images of a man they would like to identify following an assault in Bournemouth.

The incident occurred at 2.15pm on Monday 23 September 2024 at The Bell pub in Christchurch Road.

The victim – a man aged in his 20s – was approached by two unknown men. One of them punched him, causing him to fall backwards, where he was further assaulted to the head. He did not sustain any serious injuries.

Police Community Support Investigator Chris Wilson, of Bournemouth police, said: “As part of my investigation, I am issuing CCTV images of a man I would like to identify.

“I would ask anyone who recognises him to please contact Dorset Police.”
