Witness appeal following fail-to-stop collision in Poole

Officers investigating a report of a fail-to-stop road traffic collision in Poole are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.

Dorset Police received a report at 9.01pm on Friday 28 February 2025 of a collision on the B3068 Ringwood Road, near to the junction with Haskells Road, involving a grey Lexmoto motorcycle and a car.

It was reported that the car involved, believed to be a black Vauxhall Corsa, failed to stop at the scene.

The motorcyclist, a 19-year-old woman, was treated by the ambulance service and was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were not believed to be serious.

Police Constable Charlie Bailey, of Poole police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this incident as we seek to identify the vehicle involved and the driver.

“I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police, as well as any motorists who may have captured any relevant dashcam footage, to please make contact with us.”
