Appeal for information following commercial burglary in Gillingham

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following a commercial burglary in Gillingham.

Between 1pm on Saturday 25 April and 8am on Sunday 26 April 2026 entry was forced to a chemical treatment centre in Common Mead Lane.

Copper wires were stolen and significant damage was caused to stores on the site.

Police Constable Ashlea Gale, of Gillingham Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this incident and I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area during the relevant timeframe.

“I would also urge any residents in the vicinity of Common Mead Lane with home CCTV or doorbell cameras to please check their footage for anything that might assist our investigation.”
