Witness appeal following report of outraging public decency in Bournemouth
Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following a report of outraging public decency in Bournemouth.
It was reported that at around 5pm on Friday 24 July 2026 a man was seen apparently performing an indecent act in a bush on Madeira Road, next to the underpass that leads to Dean Park Road.
The man is described as around five feet eight inches tall, aged between 25 and 30 with a darker complexion and of slim build. He was wearing a black and red motorcycle helmet with white on the back, a black quarter-zip top, skinny dark blue jeans and black shoes.
Police Constable Oliver Gorman, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this incident, and I am keen to hear from any witnesses who have not already spoken to police.
“I would also like to speak to anyone with information relating to the identity of this individual, or anyone who may have captured relevant dashcam, home CCTV or doorbell camera footage.
“Finally, I would urge anyone who witnesses any similar incidents in the vicinity to please report it to police immediately.”
