Appeal for witnesses following burglary in Dorchester

Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a burglary at an address in Dorchester.

Between 7.30pm and 8.45pm on Wednesday 2 July 2025, entry was gained to an address in Great Western Road.

A 50-inch television was stolen during the incident.

Police Constable James Harper, of Dorchester police, said: “Our enquiries are underway and we have been checking CCTV in the area and making house-to-house visits.

“I am appealing to anyone who saw someone walking with a 50-inch television around the relevant time frame in Great Western Road, Bowling Alley Walk or the surrounding vicinity to please come forward.

“If you saw any suspicious activity, or captured anything of relevance on dashcam or CCTV footage, please get in touch.”
