Body found in search for man who went missing from Poole
A body has very sadly been found in the search for a man who went missing from Poole.
Daniel, aged 31, was reported missing having last been seen at around midnight on Tuesday 18 August 2026. Officers have been carrying out extensive searches, with assistance from HM Coastguard and Dorset Search and Rescue (DorSAR).
Around 2pm on Friday 21 August, it was reported that the body of a man had been found in the water near to Lake Pier.
While the body has not yet been formally identified, it is believed to be Daniel and his family has been informed.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
