Witness appeal following burglary in North Dorset

Officers investigating a burglary in North Dorset are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

The incident occurred between Friday 27 March and Wednesday 1 April 2026 at an address off Barrow Hill in Stalbridge.

A quantity of cash and items of jewellery are believed to have been stolen.

Police Constable Ed Lewis, of North Dorset police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this incident and working to establish when the break-in occurred.

“I am appealing to anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area during the relevant timeframe to please come forward.

“I am also keen to speak to anyone who may have information about who was responsible.”
