Appeal for information following vehicle theft near Wareham

Officers investigating a vehicle theft near Wareham are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

It is reported that between 11am and 11.25am on Monday 9 March 2026 a Ford Ranger was stolen from the Higher Hyde Heath car park in Puddletown Road.

The vehicle is described as black with a silver metal roller shutter and the word ‘VOODOO’ printed on the back. The vehicle registration number is YO21NBK.

Police Constable Christopher Windows, of Dorset Police, said: “We have been carrying out enquiries into this vehicle theft and are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.

“We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in Puddletown Road area around the relevant time or has seen a Ford Ranger matching the description given.”
