Witness and dashcam appeal following collision in Bournemouth

Officers investigating a road traffic collision in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.

At around 8.35am on Sunday 4 May 2025 a collision occurred at the Station Roundabout, at the junction of Holdenhurst Road and the A35 St Pauls Road, in Lansdowne involving a blue Honda moped and a blue Renault Clio.

The moped rider, a man aged in his 30s, was taken to hospital for treatment to an injury that was believed to be serious but not life changing or life threatening. He was subsequently discharged from hospital and was arrested on suspicion of a driving offence.

He has been released under investigation as further enquiries are carried out.

Police Constable Lauren Hobkirk, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into the full circumstances of this collision and I am keen to hear from any witnesses who have not already spoken to police.

“I would also like to speak with any motorists who were in the area and may have captured any relevant dashcam footage.”
