Renewed appeal as searches continue for missing man from Spetisbury

Officers are renewing their appeal for information as they continue to search for a missing man from Spetisbury.

Dorset Police received a report raising concern for 49-year-old Jamie, who was reported to have left his home address at around 10.30am on Friday 9 January 2026.

Jamie is described a five feet 11 inches tall and of medium build with dark brown hair. Following enquiries, it is now believed he was wearing a green coat when he left the address, as well as jeans and wellington boots.

Chief Inspector Joe Turner, of Dorset Police, said: “We are continuing to carry out extensive searches to try and find Jamie as we are concerned for his welfare. We are grateful to DorSAR (Dorset Search and Rescue) for their support in these search efforts.

“I am renewing our appeal for anyone with information regarding Jamie’s whereabouts to please contact Dorset Police. We have now obtained CCTV footage of Jamie from around the time he left his address, which has given us a better indication of the clothing he was wearing.

“I would also make a further plea to Jamie if you see this appeal to please make contact with us or your loved ones and let us know where you are. We all just want to make sure that you are all right.”
