Criminal damage to windows in Poole – witness appeal

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward after damage was caused to windows in Poole.

At around 2am on Sunday 19 October 2025, the occupants of two properties in Simmons Close were woken to the sound of smashing.

It was discovered that two windows had been smashed.

Police Constable Alice Beavon, of Poole police, said: “Understandably, this would have been very frightening to wake up to and thankfully, nobody was injured.

“We are carrying out enquiries to identify who was responsible and would ask anyone who saw someone acting suspiciously in the area to please come forward.

“I am also keen to speak to anyone who may have captured anything of relevance on either home CCTV or dashcam footage.”
