CCTV appeal following robbery in Bournemouth

Detectives are issuing CCTV images of four men they would like to identify as they investigate a robbery in Bournemouth.

It is reported that at around 3.50am on Saturday 15 June 2024 the victim – a man aged in his 20s – and a woman were walking in the Lower Gardens when he was grabbed from behind and restrained to the ground by four men.

The men then took a Rolex watch from his left wrist and left in the direction of the bus station in Gervais Place.

Detective Constable Samantha James, of Bournemouth CID, said: “We have been carrying out various enquiries into this robbery and I have now obtained a CCTV image of four men we would like to identify as part of our investigation.

“I would urge anyone who recognises these men, or who has any further information that might assist our enquiries, to please contact us.”
