Update – further arrest in connection with reported robbery in Poole
Detectives investigating a reported robbery in Poole have made a third arrest.
At around 2.30pm on Monday 17 October 2022 a local man aged in his late teens was sitting on a bench outside Cobham Sports and Social Club facing Gravel Hill when he was reportedly assaulted and his phone was stolen.
The man sustained an injury to his head that required medical treatment.
A 16-year-old boy from Wimborne was previously arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and robbery and a 17-year-old girl from Poole was arrested on suspicion of robbery. Both were released on police bail.
Following further enquiries by detectives, a 19-year-old man from Wimborne has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and he has also been released on police bail as the investigation continues.
