Appeal for witness to come forward after assault in Poole

Officers are appealing for a male witness to come forward after he came to the aid of a victim after an assault in Poole.

It is reported that at around 11.30am on Tuesday 1 July 2025, a woman was assaulted by a man who was known to her at an address in Princess Road.

During the incident, the victim screamed and ran out of the address. She sustained bruising from the assault.

A male witness wearing a blue T-shirt came to the aid of the victim outside the property.

Police Constable Aimee Holland, of Dorset Police, said: “I am continuing to investigate this incident and am appealing to the man in the blue T-shirt to please come forward.

“I believe he may have important information to assist my enquiries and I would like to take his account of what he saw that day.”
