Update – arrest following reported attempted robbery in Bournemouth
A man has been arrested following an image appeal in relation to a report of an attempted robbery in Bournemouth.
It was reported that at around 3am on Tuesday 10 September 2024 a man aged in his 30s was at the Natwest cash machine in Old Christchurch Road when he was approached by another man.
The man reportedly demanded money from the victim and made threats of violence, but they managed to run away and nothing was taken.
Following enquiries into the matter and an image appeal, a 43-year-old man from Bournemouth was arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery. He has been released on police bail as enquiries continue.
