Update – man due in court in connection with reported assault in Weymouth
A man is due to appear in court in connection with an alleged assault in Weymouth.
It was reported that at around 2pm on Monday 14 March 2022 a woman aged in her 20s was in The William Henry pub in Frederick Place with a man. When they left the pub, the man allegedly took a pushchair from the victim, causing her to be pushed into a wall.
A 21-year-old man from Ringwood was arrested in connection with the incident and he has now been issued with a postal requisition to appear at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 6 July 2022 for an offence of assault.
