Witness and dashcam appeal following serious injury collision in Blandford
Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward following a serious injury collision in Blandford.
At 8.53am on Tuesday 15 April 2025 Dorset Police received a report of a road traffic collision involving a white Ford Transit van and a black Honda motorcycle, which occurred in Bournemouth Road close to the junction of Chettell Way.
Officers attended with the ambulance service and a man aged in his 20s was taken to hospital for treatment to a serious leg injury.
Police Constable Kier Dagnall, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “We are carrying out a full investigation to establish the full circumstances of what happened and I am keen to hear from anyone with information that might assist our enquiries.
“I would ask any local residents or motorists driving in the area at the time of the incident to please review their home CCTV cameras and dashcams to see if they have captured anything of relevance which may aid our investigation.
“Finally, we would like to thank members of the public for their patience and understanding during the road closures, which were put in place to allow the emergency services to respond and for us to investigate this incident.”
