Man charged in connection with reported distraction burglary in Bournemouth
A man has been charged in connection with a reported distraction burglary in Bournemouth.
It was reported that at around 9.20am on Monday 25 November 2024 a man attended a property in Kinson Road and stole a purse containing bank cards.
One of the bank cards was then reportedly used to withdraw £500 from a cash machine.
Following enquiries by officers, a 32-year-old man from Ringwood was arrested in connection with the incident. He has subsequently been charged with dwelling burglary and fraud by false representation.
The man has also been charged in connection with a further two reported dwelling burglaries in Bournemouth – one in Exbury Drive on Thursday 21 November 2024 and another in Paget Road on Monday 23 December 2024. It is alleged that bank cards were stolen during these incidents and subsequently used fraudulently.
He has been issued with a postal requisition to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Friday 28 November 2025.
